Super dApp Showdown season one winners announced

Supra, the automated decentralized finance (AutoFi) platform and a Layer 1 (L1) blockchain, has unveiled the nine winners of the first season of the Super dApp Showdown, as per the reports shared with Finbold on Monday, March 31.
The winners were selected for their advancements in decentralized finance (DeFi), gaming decentralized finance (GameFi), non-fungible tokens (NFTs), etc.

Launched in August 2024, the Super dApp Showdown invited Web3 developers to come up with and deploy Super dApps on Supra’s L1 network.

During the next three months, participants showcased the capabilities of Supra’s technology, including native oracles, decentralized Verifiable Random Function (dVRF), automation solutions, and cross-chain bridges.
Judges at Supra and the reality TV show Killer Whales evaluated the projects based on innovation, scalability, and real-world utility.
One of the winners was Pixudi, a Web3 board game that blends nostalgia for games such as Dungeons & Dragons with modern blockchain mechanics.
Next was Evo, a Web3 trading terminal for professional traders that leverages Supra’s real-time data feeds and automated trading bots.
Crystara, a gamified NFT marketplace with blind box mechanics, showcased Supra’s dVRF technology.
Another winner was Solido Money, a DeFi protocol enabling liquid staking, zero-interest borrowing, and yield-optimized financial strategies.
Deri Protocol, a decentralized derivatives exchange that facilitates on-chain hedging, and Growfitter, a dynamic real-world asset (RWA) and brand rewards platform, likewise demonstrated the potential of Supra’s real-world utility and trading solutions.
Next, Atmos, Supra’s native DeFi liquidity hub, presented new token creation and trading ideas, while Superlane, a decentralized money market protocol, showcased new ways lending and borrowing could be enhanced via parallel execution and seamless composability.
Finally, SkinFi, the first token-powered skin trading platform for on-chain and off-chain game assets, brought together a large community of Counter-Strike 2 players interested in in-game cosmetics.
The rewards at Super dApp Showdown
Each winner will receive a share of a $100 million fund as well as extensive marketing and promotional support.
In addition, winners will be featured on Supra’s media channels and participate in Project Blast Off 2, a new campaign designed to encourage more than half a million users on Supra to complete on-chain tasks and earn rewards.
Moreover, the winners will be reviewed by the Killer Whales production team and potentially featured on the reality TV show.
